Your point hasn’t been proven. OPs point was that Putin promises can’t be trusted. And without US putting force behind that promise, Ukraine is wise to be worried about such a deal.
Just because one alternative realized doesn’t mean there weren’t other options, better or worse.
Edit: plus, a peace deal is far from done, regardless which side you root for.

I can’t say anything about the validity of the infographic but it says “increase up to” so it’s relative not absolute. So without knowing the current taxation it would be hard to say that tax is low, unless you think the increase is too low. Or am I missing something?

Yeah you misread what I meant at least. Springsteen, according to the quote, says the America he sings of has been a beacon of liberty for 250 years, which obviously isn’t an accurate depiction. The vision and ideal was liberty for all and a right to pursuit of happiness, but with some very troubling caveats that put a huge stain on those ideals.
