Germany is not the only country that’s having problems with permanent waste storage. Most countries have not even started dealing with this issue and are still using interim storage solutions.

The source you’ve linked shows it’s marginally safer on a death per KW/h rate, true, while being substantially more expensive and comes with the unsolved problem of dealing with toxic waste.

Ich möchte noch hinzufügen, dass Lange zudem auch eines der Kreml U-Boote in der SPD ist. So hatte sie sich zB 2022 nach dem Beginn des russischen Angriffskriegs vollständig gegen Sanktionen ausgesprochen und für diplomatische Normalisierung der Beziehungen.

So hab ich da noch nicht drüber nach gedacht (über die Begriffswahl), aber deine Kritik macht absolut Sinn und ist mMn auch angebracht.

Lange hat sich übrigens auch 2022 gegen Russland-Sanktionen ausgesprochen. Könnte mir durchaus vorstellen, dass das eine dieser Kreml Seilschaften innerhalb der SPD ist. Ob nun aus freien Stücken oder via gewisse Anreize… wär gut wenn da jemand journalistisch mal genauer hinschaut.

This is not a fix at all in Germany. There are no immediate repercussions of the Verfassungsschutz calling the AfD extremist. There might be more wind in the sails of the politicians that want a motion to ban them, but I’m definitely not holding my breath for it during a Merz administration.
