I have a theory. His obsession with McDonald’s over any other fast food chain is mostly because his first name is Donald. I think his childish narcissism extends beyond plastering his last name on everything he owns.

I am expecting big business to send prostitutes as their representatives to Trump when they want something. Flirtation, boobs, and so forth are more than enough to make Trump sign away everything that America has.

I know it’s fun to use this sort of thing to bag on the Saudis and on Trump, and I’m a fan of neither, but just wanted to point out that this kind of thing is pretty common.

It’s just a food truck. Sure it’s a bit bigger than your average food truck, but that are catering to larger crowds. I’ve seen these at events across Europe, and in Australia. I’m sure there’s plenty trundling around the States as well.

I did mean the government, and by Trump I meant the current administration under Trump.

But now you mention it, I can’t think of a single Saudi person I’m a fan of, despite working there on and off for some time.

As a lifelong USian I have never seen a McDonald’s food truck in my entire life (yes we do food trucks here). Presumably because McDonalds already has a location anywhere that one could possibly want a shitty ripoff burger.

I think what we find funny here is that it’s McD… You’d usually bring out fancier stuff for a head of state. You know, refined stuff made by a chef, not sloppy fast food.

I love how the saudis are treating the orange shitbag like a toddler.

“Do you want the plane that goes brrrr? We put the big screen to watch foxy newsy :)”

“Oh oh do you hear this sound? Yes! It’s the mcdonny truck! Choof choof!”

Why don’t you dial back your Karen radar for one second and just let people speak normally online without some grammar/whatever Nazi come in here stirring up shit.

It is not grammar/whatever. They are two very different countries, it is like confusing Britain and France because you think all Europeans are the same.

God please if you are listening, free us from the french. We are tired to pretend their food and wines are superior. You can move them to Scotland, nobody understands scottish or french anyway, they will get along perfectly.

        That said tho…….

Gulf countries are very similar I’ve been told (never been). Kinda like german and austrian people, spanish and italian, nordic and sweden, scottish and irish people. Indistinguishable. /s

Spanish (that be what, Galician, Castillian, Catalonian, Basque, Andalusian?) people between themselves are as different as “German and Austrian”. Actually the difference between Bavaria and Austria is in history and nation lore, not in dialects. Roughly. Of course there is dialectal difference too.

I guess you could say “Spanish and Occitan” for the comparison to be right.

OK, after “nordic and sweden” I looked for that “/s” and found it, sorry.

Wasn’t one of his reasonings that its so predelant that you can get a mcdonald’s anywhere at a drop and no one would be able to do anything to your food because they Wouldn’t know which one you would use.

So now there will be one mcdonald’s in the whole country they know he will use… Not very safe anymore.

I don’t think any nation hostile to democracy/US interests would dare do anything to Trump in general. Something like a third of Americans voted to destroy their own country. Why would the Saudis want us to not shoot ourselves in the foot?

How much was paid out over Khashoggi’s death?

The US doesn’t really care about journalists, they killed them in Iraq and Afghanistan, and their weapons have killed 215 journalists so far in Palestine. It was always about extracting tributes and concessions from Saudi Arabia. Saudi Arabia just doesn’t want to be turned into another Iraq or Libya or Syria or Palestine or any country that got on the bad side of the US. The US is known to hold a grudge, just look at the 67-year embargo on Cuba.

Does he actually like that crap? I thought it was a show because he thought his base would eat up him liking that crap as well as making the elites who are used to 5 star chefs eat that cheap shit at white house events.

Unless this is also part of that act and they’ll make a show of ordering and sending some intern to pick it up and verbally abuse the workers, and then maybe make the interns eat it while he actually eats good food.

Trump actually loves it, not a joke. He’s obsessed because, for a long time, fast food was cleaner. Unfortunately Trump’s image of McDonald’s and other fast food is stuck in 1960
