That does seem to be what they’re saying they think they’re saying. Straight and forward.

politics @lemmy.world•‘This is oligarchy’: Nearly 100 billionaires are funding Susan Collins’ reelection bid
0·20 days agoIs it this iron cross that’s an exclusively Nazi symbol? Right up there with this one?
And you’re simply wrong that everyone knows the difference between this skull and crossbones and that one. Obviously the one on the SS cap is a bad one but no, people don’t generally keep track of the design details of skull insignia. What I’ll agree is that any skull tattoo should really make you wonder if perhaps we’re the baddies, but whatever. I find that St Pauli logo to be weird too.
And sure. Keep an eye on this guy. No disagreement. You’re just making some really strong claims about symbols and other people’s awareness.

And yes, I grew up eating spaghetti with minced beef and ketchup.

0·20 days agoSince I went browsing around, here are some images for comparison:
Yes, it’s a specific design and you should be careful with skulls but I’m not sure we should demand that everyone recognize the difference. I wouldn’t have until now if I’d seen them as line drawings. In embossed silver, sure…

Where emitting “actions” is German(?) for issuing stocks.
Or is it where decades of mostly ignoring anything but presidential elections has gotten us? Where mot participating in most of the process has gotten us and then we want there to be just the choice we want, waiting for us at the end?
You are very quick to put words and thoughts and deeds in people’s mouths and minds and hands.
Grow up and do the best thing that the situation allows. To see what the alternative is… [gestures vaguely at the world]
Run against them.
(In theory. I wouldn’t do that either.)
28 mph is 45 kph and about twice the speed at which assist is required to cut out in Europe.
This thing needs weight limits and its speed halved. There should also be a momentum limit on speed times weight so a heavier vehicle has to go slower.
What is this Artificial Inflation? I’ve seen no such thing.

That etymology is pretty cool. And chiosco is my new (or reminded) Italian word for the day.
